Our mission focuses on promoting emotional and economic stability, addressing challenges such as poverty, gang involvement, and mental health, and cultivating leadership at all levels. Through these efforts, we aim to build stronger, more resilient communities and help families lead healthy, fulfilling lives.

Our History
Win Together Canada Foundation was inspired by the personal history and experiences of its founders, Jean Pierre Rugemintwaza and his wife, Diane Umutoni.
Their journey is a deeply rooted story of resilience, faith, and a shared commitment to creating a positive impact on individuals and communities.
Originally from Rwanda, Africa, Jean Pierre, and Diane experienced the profound loss of their parents at an early age. Despite this early tragedy, they are grateful to have been embraced by responsible and loving guardians who provided the care, support, and guidance they needed to navigate life’s challenges.
These formative experiences instilled in them a deep appreciation for the importance of family, mentorship, and the life-changing power of a strong, nurturing environment.
As proud parents of three wonderful children, they are committed to instilling the values of love, resilience, responsibility, and empowerment that have been the foundation of their journey.
Their journey led to the creation of the Win Together Canada Foundation, a registered Canadian charity organization dedicated to empowering children, youth, and families through education, capacity building, and mentorship. By championing the values of resilience, responsibility, and empowerment, Jean Pierre and Diane strive to create lasting change and build stronger, more resilient communities.
